Vandaag weer aan de slag, gisteren geprobeerd te genieten van het mooie weer. Door afgelopen week zat ik niet zo lekker in mijn vel. De blaadjes vallen ( dus last van herfst-melancholie ), nieuws dat dichtbij kwam en ontzettend druk in beide winkels. Máár . . . ik ben niet het type dat bij de pakken neerzit, nope that's not like me ! De interieur-opdracht die we verleden week kregen had alle aandacht nodig, dus lekker mijn zinnen verzetten. Ons werk is gelukkig ook nog eens therapeutisch . . . , dus schouders eronder en hoppa . . . aan de slag !~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today back at work. yesterday i tried to enjoy the beautiful weather. Last week was not that good. The leaves fall (so i feel the melancholy burden of autumn), i heard some bad news and very busy in both stores. But. . . I'm not the type that sits down on his laurels, nope that's not like me! The interior job we got last week had all the attention, so good for me to move my senses. Our work is fortunately also therapeutic. . . , So buckle down and wham. . . to work!

Deze ochtend dus vroeg naar Diever om daar de bestelde spullen op te halen. Een grote bank, 2 klepbanken, 12 (!) stoelen, héél veel kussens, lantaarns met kaarsen, broodplanken, lectuurbakken, windlichten en de nodige losse accessoires . . . pfff dat was sjouwen ! Daarna naar Havelte om de rest op te halen en natuurlijk Christy. Met ze tweetjes trokken we naar Vledder. Op de foto hierboven zie je het bedrijf van Carly Huisinga "Stal Arcadia", alwaar we de interieur-opdracht kregen. Passen en meten, trap op, trap af . . . totdat alles naar wens was. Al met al een inspirerende ochtend ! Zover de voorspoed . . .

So early this morning I went to Diever to pick up the ordered items. A large sofa, two valve banks, 12 (!) Chairs, lots of pillows, lanterns with candles, bread boards, magazine racks, candle lights and the necessary accessories. . . phew that was lugging! Then to Havelte to pick up the rest and of course Christy. With the two of us we went to Vledder. In the picture above you see the company of Carly Huisinga "Arcadia Stables. Fitting and measuring, stairs up, stairs down. . . until everything was okay. An inspiring morning ! So far the prosperity. . .
Want tegenspoed komt ook regelmatig op je pad . . . deze keer in de vorm van brandstichting ! In de ochtend hadden we nog niks gemerkt, pas na terugkomst uit Vledder zagen we dat het hek zwart geblakerd was. In de nacht van zaterdag op zondag hebben 2 jongens geprobeerd brand te stichten bij onze winkel in Havelte. De heksenbezems, die ter decoratie voor Aurumn Fest dienden, lagen verbrand bij het hek. Ook de vlaggetjes en bloembakken waren vernield. De partytent was gedeeltelijk verbrand, grote brandgaten in het dak. We schrokken enorm en hebben de politie gebeld om aangifte te doen. Toen de politie arriveerde kwam ook ons buurmeisje, zij had alles zien gebeuren en heeft toen de politie en brandweer gebeld. Dankzij haar is het nog redelijk goed afgelopen. Maar de schrik zit er goed.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because adversity is also regularly on your path. . . this time in the form of arson! In the morning we had noticed nothing, after returning from Vledder we saw that the entrance was blackened. In the night from Saturday to Sunday, 2 guys tried to set fire to our shop in Havelte. The witches' brooms, which served as decoration for Aurumn Fest, were burned at the gate. The flags and flower boxes were destroyed. The party tent was partly burned, fire holes in the roof. We were in a state of shock so we called the police to press charges. When the police arrived also did our neighbor (the girl next door), she was a witness that night and she called the police and fire brigade. Thanks to her the fire was out within minutes. But the fear is still here.
